Joseph Stella

(1887-1946)

American painter, best known for his cubist- and futurist-inspired paintings executed in the years around 1920. His works are in many museums throughout the USA: Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the National Gallery of Art, the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, the Cleveland Museum of Art, etc.
